A calving chain is looped around the limb of a calf during assisted birth so that traction can be applied in a controlled way, usually with an obstetric chain handle. Chains are made with a loop or a ring at each end, and with links that are smooth so they do not catch on tissue.
Length, link size and the way the end loops are formed vary between designs. Smooth, well-finished links matter because the chain is in contact with the animal and has to be cleaned between uses. We confirm length, link size and material from your reference piece. Obstetric work should be done by veterinarians or trained persons.
Confirmed against your approved drawing or sample before production.
