B2B · OEM · PRIVATE LABEL · CUSTOM PACKAGING
A bone curette has a small spoon or cup on the working end with a sharpened edge, used to scrape bone surfaces and remove soft tissue from cavities. In dental and oral surgery it is used to clean out extraction sockets, cysts and sites with granulation tissue. It is also called a curettage spoon or bone spoon.
The common form is the Volkmann spoon, available with different spoon sizes and with a spoon on one or both ends. The edge may be sharp or blunt depending on the pattern. Spoon diameter, shaft length and handle form vary, so we work from your drawing or a reference piece. For periodontal root work, see the Gracey curette, which is a different instrument.
Confirmed against your approved drawing or sample before production.
